Sustainability Victoria has a partnership with a free recycling scheme called Byteback for business owners and residents to take your old computers and related euipment and recycle them to prevent them going to landfill which is both wasteful and puts dangerous chemicals into our land and water table.
Currently almost 75% of Victorian computer equipment is dumped! And with schemes such as this, there is no reason why that should be anymore!

And when you next upgrade some equipment please try to remember to recycle it. If you are taking some yourself, remember to ask around friends, family and other businesses if they need anything taken there too. A nice favour and also saves on multiple journeys!
If you are a Grow Me The Money participant and intend to (or already do) regularly make the extra effort of recycling your old equipment rather than dumping it then please contact us and we'll add that to your Action Plan and give you some extra points as a bonus!
